Meikyuu Black Company TV Anime Adaptation announced

The official Twitter account for the Mag Comi website confirmed an anime adaptation for  Yōhei Yasumura’s “Meikyuu Black Company” manga on Wednesday. The Twitter account also unveiled a visual for the anime.

The Rakuten website listing for the manga’s previous sixth volume also revealed this adaptation. The volume will release on July 10. The manga has entered its climax at chapter 30 on June 5.

This series tells the story of Kinji, a man who does not have any work ethic, who lives a relaxed life in his modern life. One day, he finds himself thrown into another world – only instead of having a relaxed life he is forced into a terrible job! He is enslaved by a brutal mining company forcing him to fight to the death.

Yasumura launched the manga on the Mag Comi website in December 2016. Mag Garden published the fifth volume last November.
